Christopher-Meloni

Christopher Peter Meloni (born Christopher Peter Meloni) is an American actor who is best known as a star of the popular TV show 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. Since his time at college, Christopher Meloni has been attracted to the world of acting. He studied acting at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Although he worked in film and TV but his performances on the small screen are what brought him much popularity. It is no surprise that he has been able grab the attention of viewers by playing characters who are on either side of the legal system. In the first television show where he played the character of a killer. Later, he was able to play the part of an NYPD Detective. In recognition of his performance on the smaller screen, he's been up for nomination several times for the prestigious Emmy Awards. He is known for his blue-piercing eyes, which have become the trademark of his character and has helped him in portraying tough characters with a sense of humor. He was listed as one of People's Magazine's Sexiest Men Alive in 2006.
