Christopher Peter Meloni has been known as a well-known American actor for many years. He is most known for the roles he performed in "Law & Ordinance Special Victims Unit". The first time he became interested in acting was in his early college days. He completed his acting studies at University of Colorado at Boulder. Though he has been active on film and television but it was his character on the small screen that brought him fame and a large admirers. He's been able to effortlessly play roles of characters on both sides of the law, and captivate the viewers' focus. On his debut TV show where he played the character of a murderer. He then went on to portray the role as an NYPD Detective. The actor has been nominated several times for the highly coveted Emmy Awards and the PRISM Awards for his small screen performances. His most attractive facial feature is believed to be his piercing blue eyes, which are considered to be his trademark. They have aided in depicting the rough and savage characters with a sense of humour. He was listed in People's magazine's list of Sexiest Men Alive in 2006.
