Christopher Peter Meloni is an American actor who is well-known for his role in the famous television shows like 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. Since his time at college Christopher Meloni has always been attracted to the world of acting. He studied acting at University of Colorado at Boulder. He was also active in TV and film but his performances on small screens are what brought him much recognition. This is not surprising since his characters have been able to capture people's attention with his characters that are either sides of the law. In his very first TV show, he was the role of a serial killer. Later he portrayed the role of an NYPD investigator. He was repeatedly nominated for both the prestigious Emmy Awards, and the PRISM Awards. It is his trademark piercing, blue eyes which have been said to make his look attractive. They've helped him portray rough characters in a charismatic way. People's magazine listed him as one of the Sexiest Men Alive for 2006.
